This innovative yarn is produced by Tintoria Sala in 100% Trevira, a material that can realistically reproduce viscose-linen fabrics, with their typically uneven and natural look. A real cutting-edge product, and so special as to be patented. Its unique manufacturing method donates the creation of a natural, uneven effect of a synthetic fireproof fabric, as is usually obtained by blending light viscose fibres with dark linen ones. The two-tones dyeing only requires one bath. Production ranges from one single cone to large scale.

Made of 100% Trevira, it is fire retardant and is available in an ever expanding wide range of colours, with an ever expanding palette.

A yarn that can withstand anything

A 100% Trevira article. Blended with yarns in different counts, it can be used to manufacture textiles with uneven effects, both in colour and in hand. Any colour can be obtained in a single-dyeing process.

High-count yarn
This kind of yarn is widely used for furnishing fabrics. High counts are available, which can be used for fire resistant carpeting. Blended with different yarns, it increases their resistance and gives them a nice uneven look.

KING

“Bourette” effect linen blend

In collaboration with Tintoria Sala, Predilnica Litija has created a variation of the traditional linen blend (viscose 67% - linen 33%). Even with no change in the traditional viscose-linen ratio, it can easily be observed that, the yarn results in an uneven, two-tones effect in a single and perfectly reproducible bath. The visual impact can be compared to a “bourette” yarn. Available counts are NM2/9000, streaked, and NM 2/8000, smooth.
